Entirely brown sooty, the circle of white feathers surrounding its eyes is the only detail justifying is name of albatross...

Less common than the yellow-nosed albatross, he nests in the cliffs south-west of the island in places as windy but still more steep...

Its relatively small wingspan allows him to show a flight very graceful and changing.
